OYO 17178 Flagship Ankura Hospitality

We had water problems, and the manager was rude, arrogant, and unhelpful when we told him. The room and bathroom weren't cleaned well, and other customers had the same issue. He didn't answer our calls either. They promised parking before check-in, then refused to let us park even though there was space. The service was very poor. Never book this hotel if you're going with your family.

We booked extra bedding, but they said none was available. The first room had a broken flush and a set-top box but no TV, so after we complained they moved us. In the next room the AC didn't work, and nobody came despite repeated requests. Room service was painfully slow, with waits of hours. We left around 8 in the morning after reminding them a couple of times to clean, then returned at 10:30 at night to find the room untouched. They said there was no staff to clean. The ground-floor common area was never cleaned either, and stray dogs roamed around. I usually don't write reviews, but my stay from 12/13 to 12/15 was so disappointing I had to share it. I hope this helps anyone checking reviews. Don't trust the owner's photos or the five-star ratings. I can't even decide how many negative stars this place deserves.

The price was very affordable, which is why I gave one star. Otherwise, it was a pretty pathetic experience. The toilet door wouldn't shut because its frame was broken, and the flush water smelled horrible, as if it might be untreated recycled water. There was no water all day; they said they'd move us to another room but forgot. The TV signal was choppy even after it started working. At reception, their printer wasn't working and they wouldn't accept a soft copy, so I had to travel 4 km to get a hard copy of my address proof.

There was no lift, and people had spat gutka all over the stairs. The place wasn't clean at all. The receptionist was very unprofessional, there was no toiletry kit, soap, or water bottle at check-in, and the flush didn't work. My room had no TV; when I asked to move, they said the other rooms didn't have a TV subscription either. There wasn't a dustbin or intercom in the room. Worst oyo ever, a very pathetic experience.
