OYO 27839 Manyata Residency

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the customer service is really good. They make an effort to make the stay pleasant, so I’d consider booking again for a short stay. But the location, price, and connectivity are concerns. It’s a long walk from the main road on poorly lit streets, with no nearby shops; after 9PM the route feels creepy, and there are lots of street dogs. Given the location and poor connectivity, the price could be lower, even though the rooms are spacious and well kept. There’s no cell signal in the room, the WiFi is too slow to help, and you feel cut off from the world. TV channels are very limited.

The room was spacious and it was a nice stay, though anyone arriving late at night should be prepared for the street dogs. Also, during my last few stays, the hotel has asked me to pay at its desk and threatened to cancel the booking if I didn’t. How I pay should be the customer’s choice. @oyoindia, please get this corrected.

The staff behave well and attend to problems, but the service itself is poor. It’s a budget hotel and the rooms are okay, though room service isn’t good. There were cockroaches on the beds, and the washroom water supply kept stopping.

The staff were really good and attentive, and the location worked well for my Bangalore visit with my parents. But the linen wasn’t clean, and the room had a very bad odour.
