The room we finally got was cramped and smelled strongly of urine in the bathroom. Getting there was a mess: we were refused a 5 am check-in because we'd paid online instead of in cash at the hotel, then spent nearly 4-5 hours stranded outside. When we returned at noon, the owner wanted another Rs.1644 on top of the Rs.7140 already paid for four nights, saying the rooms were unavailable and he had to upgrade us. After a lot of arguing, he let us check in. The owner, service, and hospitality were awful, and I wouldn't recommend this place. I contacted MMT, where I'd booked, and explained what happened. They worked with OYO and moved our reservation to OYO 9959 Hotel Varcity Ruby within about an hour or so. MakeMyTrip and OYO handled that part quickly, and I'm grateful to them.

The rooms and toilets were in poor condition, and the linen wasn't clean. The older man at reception had a bad attitude. I booked a 2x room, but was given a tiny one where even one person could barely fit. Don't be taken in by the fake reviews. This was the worst hotel I've stayed in.

The sheets were dirty and there were no toiletries, and they also refused the breakfast that was included in my booking. When I arrived, the owner said they'd cancel the booking because it wasn't feasible for them, so I paid extra to avoid the hassle. If you have no other choice, you could stay here, but don't count on online bookings helping much if you complain.

We got there very early during the Diwali rush, and Mr. Dhanush still did his best to fit us in. His support and hospitality were excellent, so a big thank you to him and to OYO. It's also easy to get around from here. We'll come back.

I booked a 1x room through the OYO app and arrived at 7:30 pm, leaving at 6 am. They said they'd upgrade me to a deluxe room at no extra cost since it was vacant, but the TV and AC on the fourth floor didn't work. I was shifted to room 305 on the third floor, where there was hardly room to walk. At checkout, the front desk guy grabbed my phone, told me to open the OYO app or show him the message, then gave the place a five-star rating without asking me. Absolutely pathetic stay. #oyoencore #domlur
