OYO 958 Hotel Greenwood Inn

I spent 10 days in a 3X Deluxe room at Hotel Greenwood Inn, a budget friendly property managed by Oyo. They take bookings through Oyo or offline. The location is a big plus: it's right on the hosur road madiwala bus stop, beside KFC/Total Mall. Food, fruit, restaurants, wine, cosmetics, groceries, and medicine shops are about a minute's walk away. The hotel has a restaurant called "Pal's Kitchen", known for Dosa. The front desk was helpful and quick to respond when we asked for things. My room was well lit and had clean bed covers, blankets, and pillows, plus a wardrobe, small study table, single sofa, a good sized mirror, and telephone intercom. The bathroom was clean with modern setups. Food delivery boys can bring orders to your room, so you can eat from the hotel or elsewhere. They cleaned my room three times over the 10 days, whenever I asked. There are some downsides. The 2x rooms are extremely compact and suffocating, with hardly any room to walk, and the bathroom is too small to bathe properly or stretch your arms. The 3x rooms are a good size, and the 3x bathroom is appropriate for bathing. TV channel choices are limited. I also had a problem with only hot water coming from the bathroom tap even when it was turned off. I couldn't bathe, and although I managed somehow later, the hotel couldn't fix it. The issues didn't bother me much, so I'm satisfied and giving it five stars. I'd recommend it as a budget hotel, and if you can spend more, book a 3x for a better experience. I'd book here again if I return to Bangalore.
