OYO Flagship 15777 Basvanagudi

The food at Hotel Janpath was delicious and inexpensive. I stayed for a week and tried nearly everything on the menu, and it was all quite good. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the hotel has a modern interior with an elevator and an attractive dining area. What really stood out was how kind the staff were. After I broke my foot in Hampi, they went out of their way to look after me. When it became infected, one of the owners drove me to the hospital at 10 p.m. and wouldn’t let me pay the bill. I’ve never had staff treat me so well, and probably never will. Stay at Hotel Janpath, you won’t regret it.

We arrived late at night and woke the front desk staff, but they were still really helpful. The rooms were spacious for the price, and the customer service was pleasant. Breakfast is the one thing I think could be better. Everything else was marvelous, and I’d definitely visit again. :)

Inside, the rooms are clean and good, and it’s a good budget hotel overall. The photos on this Google page are real, and the hotel looks good from outside. The worker staff are polite, though slow to act. Food is only veg. I saw people having alcohol parties during my two-day stay. The road to the hotel in Kalasipalyam is filthy, though, and I can’t give it 3 stars because of the area.

This is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. The rooms had cockroaches, even though they charge a lot of money. When I asked about it, they said they’d clean the room, as if that could fix it without calling exterminators. The building is old, and the reception stinks because the nearby bathrooms aren’t kept clean.
