OYO Flagship 15967 Yehlanka Airport Road

The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, and there’s no kitchen in this OYO. There aren’t any nearby hotels, and Swiggy, Zomato, and other delivery services aren’t available in the area, so we had to go 10 kms from the room to get something to eat. I booked for four days but left just eight hours after checking in. We seriously struggled. Book somewhere else.

The staff were really helpful and the food was good. The room was very small, but clean and hygienic. This newly made OYO flagship is around 11 kilometers from Bangalore Airport. The entire building seemed to be made of cheap quality materials. We stayed when it was only 3 days old, in February 2019, and there were some electricity issues; the lift wasn’t working yet. If you book an Uber, double-check that you’re heading to the right place, as I had a bad experience with Uber navigation here.

The location is kind of isolated, but the fifth floor has a great view and a pleasant breeze. The rooms are clean and tidy, the elevator works, and the AC works too. Staff responded promptly. The only problem was that we couldn’t watch any channels on Tata sky, in English or Hindi, so it got boring after a little while.

The room photos looked tidy when booking, but this place deserves zero stars. No proper water, no hot water, no cleaning, insects in the room, mosquitoes and dust, and no hospitality or proper service. They mentioned complimentary breakfast but didn’t provide it. A normal dormitory would be better.
