OYO Rooms Vijayanagar

I had already paid online for my booking, but the hotel refused to let me in and said it didn't accept online reservations or payments, even though it's under OYO. The manager or receptionist was ill-mannered and insisted on following his own rules. I had to contact OYO, and they moved me to another property. It was a hellish experience. The case ID was 25127627. Please take this feedback seriously and improve your service.

We arrived at the hotel on the morning of June 28, 2022, after I booked through the OYO app the day before for the next day. I checked the details and paid by card as the app asked. My account was charged Rs. 625.00 in three transactions, and I have attached screenshots. The hotel staff said there was no confirmed booking in my name and argued very rudely with us. It wasted our time and ended in an argument. We were all women, tired after traveling overnight, and had to leave without a room. My friends helped us find another nearby hotel. OYO customer care later said OYO had received only Rs. 72.00, but gave no clear answer about the booking. I need to know where the Rs. 625.00 charged to my account went if OYO says it received only Rs. 70.00 or Rs. 72.00. My bank also confirms the full Rs. 625.00 deduction, as shown in the attached screenshot. We received a booking confirmation by SMS, so why did the hotel reject it and refuse check-in? Who is responsible for this nightmare? The OYO app now says I checked in, under my name, even though we never stayed there. I have attached screenshots of that and the OYO messages too. The hotel wouldn't let us stay, yet the app records a check-in in my name. I consider this very serious. Please explain urgently and refund the full Rs. 625.00 deducted for OYO. If you don't respond to my email soon, I will have to take legal action. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. Thanks and regards

They treated me like an idiot for booking online and refused to turn on the AC, claiming there was an inspection. The staff were rude and dumb. Never stay here if you want to check out in a good mood. Experiences like this are costing OYO its credibility. OYO needs to act or it will soon be out of the market.

Two friends of mine booked a room through MakeMyTrip yesterday, but when they went to check in, the hotel person was drunk and behaved terribly. He told them no rooms were available and to ask the online booking people for their money. They haven't been refunded, and when I tried calling on their behalf, nobody answered. It was a very difficult situation in the middle of the night. Please don't book a room at this hotel.
