Palm Mystic Inn - Indiranagar

There isn't really a reception, so you have to call someone to come help with check-in. Check-in can take even longer if you've booked through a third party like MMT or Cleartrip, since they seem to confirm things with about three people. There are no lifts. The iron was dirty and didn't work properly. The reviews are paid or fake, don't trust them. The towels and sheets were dirty and patchy, and asking for replacements didn't help because they brought similar ones. On my last day, there was no water. They told me it would be back in five minutes, but after 30 minutes it still hadn't come, so I checked out and moved to the Treebo next door. It was much better, with good service and lower prices. I stay in Bangalore, Indiranagar at least 10 days a month for work, usually at Wandr or one of the Olives. This time at Palm Mystic Inn was a completely new level of horrible. The geyser gave me an electric shock that spread to the pipes. When I complained, they said, "It's a small shock." They fixed it after two days, only after I called several people and explained how serious it was. Until then, there was no hot water. Other options are Olive near the metro, Olive on 7th main, Wandr Indiranagar, or Ixora suites. The network at Ixora suites is horrible, but the rooms are good.

The rooms were very small, the washroom was unclean, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and hygiene was very poor. I paid for breakfast but never got it, and the service was terrible. This was my worst hotel stay ever. Don't trust the Google rating, the owner put it all up. I'd ask everyone to avoid this place at all costs.

The dogs aren't kept under control. Someone should report the hotel and its owner to BBMP.

The location is the only good thing. Some rooms are nice, but they aren't cleaned properly and the bed sheets aren't changed. They also have smaller rooms with fewer amenities that they try to offer for the same price as the bigger rooms. Even when you book ahead on their own website, they may not honor the booking. When you call to ask about rooms, they say they won't know until someone checks out. The advance booking seems to count for nothing. They just apologize and don't refund your money right away.
