Paris Residency

It feels relatively safe in the gated complex, inside the market area and close to Yeshwantpur Railway Station. The location is the main good point. Rooms are tiny and poorly maintained, with small cockroaches, a broken TV and no AC remote. We complained several times and left the key for repairs, but nothing got fixed. At ₹1200 per night, the condition and service don’t justify the cost. They allow early check-in, but checkout is at the same time of day. The stay was disappointing overall. Better to avoid it, or check everything carefully before booking.

The location behind yashwantpur railway station was ideal for catching my train on time. Staff and owner were very polite, and they changed my room right away when they found out I wasn’t happy with the bathroom comforts. They helped lift our luggage, which was a big help. There’s a small cafeteria and their own restaurant where you can order food to your door, plus tea and coffee are available 24 hours. The room itself was okay.

The manager was helpful and answered my questions, and the AC worked well. Hot water was available, though it wasn't very hot. Still, I won't stay here again. I was in town for my IISc interview and, being alone, felt I got the worst room. There were lots of cockroaches and strange bugs, enough to make me feel sick. Even spraying insect spray didn't stop the cockroaches from coming back.

It was an acceptable stay for the price, and the market was very close by. Room service could use improvement, though the staff were polite. They charge Rs 400 for checking in early, so keep that in mind if you arrive ahead of schedule.
