Regenta Inn 4th Block Koramangala

The room was clean and nice, and I enjoyed staying in it. The start was a bit worrying, though, since there was nobody at reception or in the lobby when we arrived, and I expected a dull stay. Breakfast was disappointing, with very little variety. The lemon sevai was actually lemon rice :-(

The rooms are compact, but the thoughtful layout and equipment make good use of the space, and I never really felt cramped. Food was another highlight for me: everything I tried tasted great, portions were generous, and the prices felt very reasonable. Breakfast had a particularly good range of fresh, well-prepared vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices, with friendly, efficient service. The staff made the stay, though. They were attentive, quick to help, and the hospitality felt as good as, or better than, what I’d expect at a five-star place. Regenta in Koramangala 4th Block exceeded my expectations. Comfortable rooms, great food, and such service at this price make it a strong choice for business or leisure.

I booked seven nights, and the stay was otherwise good. But at check-in I found a pair of wet, used women's underwear in the wardrobe. They moved me to another room as soon as I reported it. Even so, it left me wondering how clean and hygienic the rooms really are, despite looking fine.

For a budget stay in Bangalore, this is a great option. It’s on a high street and autos and bike taxis are easy to get. Skip the cab if you want to make good use of your time in Bangalore. The weather’s nice for getting around by auto or bike, and you can fit more into the day.
