SFO Hotel and Suites

Aside from the room charges for snacks, water, and chocolates, I had a good stay. They weren’t clearly marked as paid items, so finding out later felt like a hidden charge. The location was also a little confusing. Being clearer about these extra costs would have improved my rating.

The club room was very spacious, and I had a good stay overall. The bathroom needs better cleaning, ideally with hospital-grade tools and cleaning products. The toilet water jet was so dirty I couldn’t imagine using it. The toilet paper was rough and didn’t tear properly either.

I keep coming back for family dinners and events. The food is amazing, with good options for vegan and non-garlic diets, and the staff are friendly and courteous. Mr Srikanth, the owner, is down to earth and very customer friendly. Everyone goes out of their way to give you more than you expect. I’d recommend it for family gatherings, including events for senior citizens who need non-garlic food.

We were comfortable during our two-week stay at SFO, and the food at the CC restaurant was very good. The rooms were spacious and clean, maintenance was good, and room service and staff were pleasant. Mr Murali at reception was especially helpful and always handled our requests. The front desk could be more resourceful when overseas guests need help finding local cabs or auto rickshaws and don’t have apps to call them. Also, people nearby often knew the place only as Cable Car restaurant, not as the “SFO” hotel. Even nearby shops didn’t know where it was, so it was hard to find when we arrived. More public visibility would help. All in all, no complaints.
