Super Townhouse Koramangala

The noise above Room 403 kept me awake. Around 5-6 AM, I could clearly hear rats moving and playing over the gypsum ceiling. It was constant and frightening, and I couldn't sleep. I arrived around 12 PM and was first put on the 5th floor. That room had an asbestos/gypsum ceiling instead of a proper concrete roof, and the room, veranda, bed, and bathroom were all extremely unhygienic and poorly maintained. After I asked for a room on a lower floor, somewhere from the 1st to 4th, I waited about 30 minutes before they moved me to Room 403 on the 4th floor. The second room was no better: it smelled strongly of smoke, the quilt, bed, and pillows were visibly unclean, and the bathroom was in very poor condition. The health faucet leaked, and the clogged wash basin overflowed while I was washing. I came to Bangalore for two days of meetings and an expo, and booked Hotel Old Townhouse through OYO for around ₹1500 without breakfast. I wasn't expecting luxury for that price, and didn't mind that there were no toiletries like toothpaste or a toothbrush. But they didn't provide even one water bottle, not even a small one. This is my real experience, and I strongly advise people not to book this hotel.

The room itself was clean and good, but the lock opened without the access card, which was a concern. I kept reporting the night noise, and they said there was a mouse on the 5th floor. The sound was terrible. Avoid Room 401 if you want somewhere quiet.

Nothing here felt worth staying for, not even a night. The room was filthy, with dirty sheets, a foul smell, insects, and an unclean bathroom. Basic hygiene was missing, and the staff were careless and unhelpful. Service was shockingly poor. The advertised facilities didn't work or weren't there, including the AC and Wi-Fi. Random people coming in and out made the place feel unsafe and very uncomfortable. It was disgusting and a complete waste of money. This was my worst hotel experience, an absolute nightmare. Avoid it.

There was no running water, and the staff couldn't provide basic amenities. We paid for an AC room, but one of the ACs wasn't working properly. We complained, but they were completely nonchalant and said at least one AC was working. One of the worst stays of my life.
