TGI Oberon

We were new to Bangalore and stayed at TGI Oberon on a business trip. It proved to be very worthwhile, especially for the value and hospitality. In Koramangala, the hotel is well located for nearby amenities. Reception made check-in quick and easy, and security and housekeeping were consistently courteous and attentive. The rooms were a good size and stayed very clean, and room service arrived promptly. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a good range of quality options. The in-house restaurant's à la carte and live kitchen prices were a little high, but the stay was satisfying, and I'd gladly recommend the property for its hospitality.

We have now been at TGI Oberon for over two weeks, and the reception team's arrogance, rudeness, and lack of professionalism have made the stay increasingly uncomfortable. We arrived after being stranded by war-related disruptions and the airspace closure in Qatar. We explained this at check-in and hoped for basic empathy, but the response felt cold, indifferent, and dismissive. Saith on the morning shift and the night shift staff have been particularly unprofessional. They often don't greet us or acknowledge requests politely, and their tone can be disrespectful. Even asking housekeeping for a bottle of water has led to repeated, unnecessary confrontations. Staff question us instead of coordinating between shifts, leaving us embarrassed and frustrated. They also forget requests, fail to follow through, and show little interest in resolving problems or helping with basic ad hoc requests. I spoke with Mr. Vinay, the manager, about these issues and hope management takes them seriously, trains the staff, and holds them accountable so other guests don't face this treatment. Guests should be able to expect comfort, service, and respect. The difference from our earlier stay at Park Avenue Hotel in Koramangala has been stark. We received exceptional service there, felt valued and cared for, and would gladly return even at a higher cost. By comparison, TGI Oberon has felt more like a poorly managed hostel than a professional hotel, with little warmth or basic hospitality. What should have been a supportive stay during a difficult time has instead been deeply stressful and disappointing.

The rooms are comfortable, though the window view isn't great. Faith and Abisha have been really helpful, and the staff are cordial. Food quality and service are good, with affordable prices.

It's in a good spot in kormangla, close to offices and other places, so I'd recommend the hotel. The front office staff were very helpful, especially faith, who was kind and did a lot for us. When we requested amenities at the front desk, everything arrived on time, and service was fast. The hotel is newly renovated, neat, clean, and comfortable. The menu has fewer choices, but everything I tried was delicious.
