The Berrys Hotel by OYO

There was construction work in some rooms, but the beds, mattress, and pillows hadn’t been removed. The bedding didn’t seem properly cleaned, and the washrooms were dirty, smelled bad, and had cockroaches. The rooms need better upkeep and management supervision. We had a terrible stay even though we paid average hotel rates.

The rooms are spacious and good, but badly maintained. During my week-long stay, nobody came to clean the room, and there was no room service. The reception staff behaved unethically. Bed and pillow covers were stained, and there were cockroaches in the bed and wooden cupboards.

The location is fantastic, and the rooms were clean, good, and spacious. On my first visit through OYO, they gave me a really cool, great room. The second time, for almost the same price, actually 100 bucks more, the room was only average and nowhere near the same standard. I’d give the first room 5 stars, and this one around 2.5-3.

There weren’t many staff around to keep things clean, and the washrooms smelled. Maintenance work was happening while I stayed, but they didn’t even remove the bed, mattress, or blanket while doing cementing and electrical work. The hotel is poorly maintained.
