The food felt home-cooked, and the staff were polite and ready to help however they could. Pommels is in a peaceful, welcoming spot, and the apartments are clean and feel homely. I had a great stay. Even when I got sick, I felt comfortable in the lovely room, with its amazing bed and beautiful balcony.

Very clean place, with good facilities and food. I stayed in a room for a couple of days in this three- to four-storey service apartment. There’s no lift, and a meal costs around 200 bucks.

The attendants were courteous and helpful, and the rooms felt lavish. I stayed in these service apartments for the first few days after moving to Bangalore for a new job, while I was in company accommodation. Having a kitchen on every floor sounds useful, but they don’t let you cook whenever you want, which was a turnoff. The rooms also felt a bit shady, with no white CFL lighting, and could be depressing at times.
