The Urban Nest

The staff are really supportive, and the food is good. The rooms are clean and looked after, with facilities provided on time. One of the best PGs I’ve stayed in. 😃

The Urban Nest on New Bel Road is tucked away from the street, so it’s a quiet spot amid the noise and easy to reach from different parts of town. M S Ramaiah hospital is close by, which is useful for anyone going there for treatment. It’s a comfortable, budget-friendly choice for a short stop or break, and the service is very good. When something comes up, the staff take care to address it.

This was my second time at The Urban Nest, and its position near MS Ramiah institutions and IISc works well. There are good places to eat nearby, and room service can bring food from them up to your room. Rajesh was especially attentive and always reachable, and the rest of the staff took good care of me too. I found the room clean and well kept, with a large closet that let me unpack properly. The bed was comfortable, neither too firm nor too soft. There’s a kettle and tea and coffee in the room, though I had to unplug the TV since there wasn’t a separate power outlet for the kettle. A very good stay for an affordable price.

The reception staff helped me from check-in onward and even arranged transportation, though that was beyond their formal duties. I felt they cared about guest satisfaction instead of trying to add charges, which left a strong positive impression. As a visitor from Vietnam on my second trip to India, I came to Bangalore for the first time to attend a conference near Ramaiah University. The hotel made the stay memorable and offered very good service for a reasonable price. It’s close to Ramaiah University, several hospitals, and foreign exchange services. Nearby food choices range from local Indian dishes to Western options, and there’s a local market for fresh produce as well as a supermarket selling souvenirs. A couple of things could be better: the rooms could block sound more effectively, and the check-in request for facial photos could be handled more politely. A digital self-entry option for guest details might also make that process feel more professional and could improve the rating further. I appreciated the hospitality and would happily stay again on a future visit to Bangalore.
