Townhouse Ecity Inn

I booked a room with breakfast included, but reception said they didn't offer breakfast. The receptionist said he'd send some to my room, but I waited over an hour and nothing arrived. I asked for hot water instead, and they couldn't manage that either because there's no kitchen in the building and no kettle. There was thick dust on the bed, like the room hadn't been cleaned. The walls were covered in drawings left by previous guests, and there was no rug by the bathroom. The water wasn't running properly, and no staff came to help until I got upset. It felt like a trap hiding behind a high rating, and definitely wasn't worth the price when there are much better options for the same cost.

The bathroom glass panel was broken and felt risky, while both the shower and hand shower were broken, making basic washing difficult. The bedsheets and pillow covers were stained, musty-smelling, and clearly unwashed. The AC barely cooled the room. I'm very disappointed. It's listed as a mid-premium OYO, but the whole property seemed poorly maintained and didn't even justify a budget label. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The booking wasn't refunded when we tried to cancel, and customer management was very rude. It felt like scammers were running the property, and it wasn't a place for a gentleman to stay. I wouldn't stay here even if it were free. For such a cheap hotel, there were surprisingly many fake positive reviews. In Electronic City, this was my worst experience: dirty rooms without door locks, no water, and the TV, AC, and heater all out of order.

The washrooms were horrible and smelly, and the rooms felt like pigeon holes with barely any space to move. There were no towels, mats, or even drinking water, just the bare minimum. It was dark and dull because there weren't enough lights, and the work area was extremely cramped. Room service never came in the four days I was there. The location wasn't great either, with few good eateries nearby.
