The staff came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming, and acted as though they didn't want guests there. I also had concerns about payment and pricing. The online rate was 320/day, compared with 550/day for an offline or direct booking, so check online prices before reserving. I felt they might overcharge people who book in person. They were pushing me to pay for the whole stay on the first day. I wouldn't do that, since I was worried I wouldn't get the money back. Getting around is inconvenient too, with no metro station or major bus terminal nearby, so you'll need to walk or use Uber, Ola, or Rapido. In my opinion, there are plenty of places with better room rates, and I wish I hadn't been swayed by the positive reviews.

It feels like a boys' hostel, and I wouldn't consider it suitable for girls. The location is within the city and there are plenty of food options nearby, but cleanliness was below average. There were no water bottles or toiletries.

Whenever I come to Bangalore, I've been staying here since September 2018. The location is prime, the stay is cozy, and the staff are friendly. Owner Vijendra treats customers respectfully and responds promptly. For a short stay, I'd choose this over a hostel or hotel, and I can vouch for it.

Some dorm rooms could use better ventilation, and housekeeping took longer than I wanted to respond. Aside from that, I've had good stays at Transit Dorms in Tavarekere on both work and personal trips to Bangalore. It's clean, maintained, and budget-friendly for a short or longer visit. The beds are comfortable, and there's WiFi, cupboards, and drinking water. Eateries, cafes, and public transport are nearby, and the staff are polite and responsive. It felt safe and hassle-free, especially as a transit stop.

Getting around was easy from here, with transport links and key amenities close by. The staff were welcoming and ready to help, and I found the rooms spacious and clean, with enough space to relax and sort out my things. The bed was very comfortable, so I slept well. A great stay.
