Twin Tulips Hotel

I'm shocked by all the positive reviews. Calling this a luxury hotel makes no sense; it's a cheaply maintained lodge, worse than a street-level cheap place. I stayed on April 3, Good Friday, and every part of the experience was irritating and regrettable. There were blood stains on the white sheets and pillows, and water from the AC dripped onto the floor. Staff admitted they already knew about both problems. When I told the front desk the AC was leaking, he said it had a problem and needed fixing. I asked why they'd assigned it to us if they knew, and he said they had no other rooms. I told them twice to clean up the bad-smelling AC water, but they ignored me and kept calling again and again without actually fixing anything. The faucets and taps were broken, there were cockroaches in the room, the WiFi didn't work properly, and staff were rude. These kinds of scams need to be brought into the limelight.

I paid at 7.48 and didn't get a room until 8.20. The receptionist took more than 15 minutes just to check my booking, and even after I asked several times to check me in quickly, the whole process took over 30 minutes. I had a patient with me. When I asked about the delay, they got rude and argued, saying they could take another hour if the system didn't work. They were enjoying their tea while I stayed quiet and calm, then turned rude once I asked if that was how they served guests. They'd also assigned a new staff member who didn't know how to process the bill. I don't expect this kind of behavior from your team.

The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the location was great. Friendly staff too. Thanks to Aniket for your hospitality. I'll stay again.

The service was poor. There wasn't a proper water supply, and I had to ask reception for warm water every time. Cockroaches were in the room, the WiFi connection was unreliable, and there was no online TV facility. Breakfast meant a coupon for an available restaurant outside the hotel, which made for a horrible experience. For the money, staying here felt like a waste. It's only good for sleeping. I wouldn't stay here for official travel, or recommend it for families or couples.
