The room and the way management treated me were awful. I booked four nights through agoda and paid in full online, which seemed to upset them because I hadn't paid at the hotel. The room's window glass was broken, letting in dust and wind; the TV and flush didn't work, hot water was unreliable, there was no bathroom light, and mosquitoes were everywhere. The inside of the blanket was in terrible shape even though it looked normal from the outside. The lift was out, so I had to climb to the fifth floor each time. I checked out without staying and left without getting my money back. Management used abusive language and told me to leave. When I called OYO customer care, they first asked for photos by email and said a refund would follow. After I sent them and checked out, they changed their story, said they had to consult the property manager, and wouldn't refund me without that. The manager falsely claimed I hadn't checked out and that my complaints, including the broken lift, were untrue. He swore at me and said I couldn't enter. They trusted his account without asking the property to prove anything, while customer care kept changing what they told me. Each time I called, a new person started investigating with the hotel from scratch, even though I was told the issue was noted and the next call would be about the refund. This was my last time booking an OYO hotel. I won't make that mistake again.
