The place is a little hard to spot at first because there's no obvious frontage, but I liked the discretion. It felt more like staying in a local apartment in this trendy neighborhood than being a regular hotel guest. I had a lovely two night stay. The team were friendly and helpful, and my room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully decorated, with a charming little balcony for morning coffee. Breakfast was a nice traditional touch, delivered to the room in a neat box with each item in its own container. The rooftop isn't fully furnished, but it's stunning and peaceful, a lovely place to unwind.

I wouldn't recommend this place or say it's worth the money. It looks fine until you actually stay there. The breakfast was awful. They say it's included, then hand over a bag of stale food. Bathroom plumbing barely worked, and the only water was scalding hot. The window shades were broken, the bed's headboard was broken, and there was no shower curtain, so the toilet paper kept getting wet. There were these kinds of careless problems everywhere, and maintenance was really poor. People smoked a lot, so the rooms smelled. Once I realized how dysfunctional everything was, they wouldn't let me cancel the rest of my booking.

The room was pleasant and had a neutral smell, which matters a lot to me. The lobby was lackluster, and we couldn't tell the place was Wandr since it's in an unmarked building off the Main Street. They charged 1280 for breakfast that didn't exist for two nights. I spent 1-2 hours negotiating to get my money back, and they eventually returned it, which is why I'm giving four stars instead of zero. At 7:30 AM, someone repeatedly banged on my door to ask about laundry. I was furious. I hadn't slept well in weeks, and they woke me up. They provide two bottles of water, then charge for more. Other places give it free, but when we tried to buy some, nobody was around to sell it. We got home in the rain at 10 PM and couldn't get water.

There are lots of good shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby, and the rooms were small but somewhat clean. The toilet was dirty and had a strange smell no matter how much it was cleaned. Service was really bad from arrival through checkout. We'd requested parking beforehand, but a car was parked diagonally and taking up all the space. We asked for it to be moved, but the issue still hadn't been sorted when we checked out. The kettle in our room didn't work either. They said they'd bring a new one in 10 minutes, but no one showed, and nobody was at reception when we went to check. They finally brought the kettle as we were checking out, after we'd posted a review. For the high price, it wasn't a great experience.
