The breakfast felt home-cooked, especially the masala dosa and idlies with chutney. Our room was spacious, bright, and clean, including the well-kept washroom, and there was plenty of parking. We arrived in the early morning, and Aditya at the front desk was especially helpful. Service really comes first here, and it showed. If we're back in Kolar, we'd consider staying at RS again. The kettle, tea, coffee, clean towels, and lift were useful too.

The water stopped halfway through my shower, and when I asked for water later, they refused, saying the kitchen closed at 10.30. It shouldn't be that hard to hand over a bottle. There was also a cockroach in an egg at breakfast. Staff entered my room with a master key to clean, yet on days I requested cleaning, they didn't do it. That felt like a clear privacy violation. The receptionist was rude, untrained, and had no manners.

A nice hotel to stay, with good food and pleasant surroundings. Hotel Royal also has a bar and banquet hall.

The noodles were especially tasty, and the food was hygienic. Our room was well maintained and had the facilities we needed. The staff were well trained and managed, and their professionalism helped make our stay comfortable. A good place for a stay with family or friends, and one worth visiting.

The food was a really bad experience for me. I ordered vegetable biryani, but all the vegetables were raw and not cooked at all. The rooms were okay, though maintenance needs improvement.
