Orchid Tree Wellness Retreat

The nature walk and farm visit felt like a real retreat. I enjoyed my stay, with fresh, thoughtfully prepared farm-to-table meals, courteous and responsive staff, and comfortable, tidy rooms. The hotel is also easy to get to and well located. The shower and steam facilities weren’t fully functional and could be maintained better. Even so, it was an amazing stay with great food and service, and I’d consider coming back.

Food was the biggest disappointment and had a real effect on our stay. Portions were tiny, especially the curry, and we had to keep asking for refills. There was barely any choice, just one gravy and one leafy vegetable stir-fry, with no starters. For dessert we got a small ragi mudde with ghee, which was unexpected and disappointing. Breakfast was limited too: we were told we could have either an egg or an omelette, which felt unnecessarily restrictive for a resort. Meal quantity and variety need major improvement, especially for a wellness retreat. The property itself is pleasant, with green outdoor space and a clean, inviting pool. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well maintained, with a particularly impressive, modern, spotless bathroom. It also smelled fresh and felt comfortable.

Mr. Pradeep took us to his nearby farm, and his enthusiasm for organic living was inspiring. The healthy cuisine was excellent, and the meditation session with a trained naturotherapist was genuinely rejuvenating. We stayed one night this December in a very calm setting, with rooms opening onto a lovely pool. The activity area had indoor games and a projector as well. Highly recommend it for a peaceful break.

The meals were a highlight, from the welcome drink to the nourishing dishes made with a farm-to-fork approach. Millet parathas, bamboo shoot pickle, and morning hibiscus tea were wholesome and delicious, and the team served everything with genuine warmth and care. The guided farm visit was another lovely part: we met Deva the horse and the sweet pet dogs Lola and Coco. Families with kids would especially enjoy spending time with them and being close to nature. The resort is about an hour’s drive from KR Puram or Whitefield. Mr. Pradeep manages it personally, and the thoughtful design shows in all the little corners. Surrounded by abundant plants and wildlife, it feels peaceful and restorative. The ozone pool, foot massage, health consultations, and guided meditation sessions all add to the chance to slow down and unwind. For me, it’s a place to look forward to if you want calm and holistic well-being, with a rare mix of nature, comfort, and mindful living. I left feeling refreshed and inspired, and eager to return.
