We visited at the end of November and had a great stay. It’s so peaceful here, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I’d recommend this place if you love nature and want somewhere quiet.

The stream runs right through the property, and you can get completely into the water. That was a special part of a memorable stay in Tirthan. Mr Satyen has handled the place beautifully. The rooms are great, the design is well done, the food is superb, and the team has an amazing attitude. Looking forward to coming back soon. Definitely a place to visit.

The rooms were okay, but costly, and the price felt high for food that was just average. We also had waterlogging, and the bathroom tank was empty most of the time. When we complained, nobody listened, as the owner seemed to have an attitude problem. Given the high cost, I’d recommend booking somewhere else. Don’t go by the ratings, they seem fake.

The location is beautiful, and anyone who loves nature could fall for it. The property is nicely built, and the staff are warm people. Khuswant and Bunty especially took good care of us. Still, at the nightly price, I wouldn’t return or recommend it. One cottage bathroom has a drainage problem and keeps smelling. The food wasn’t up to the mark, and was expensive for its quality and taste, though the handmade chutneys were very tasty. Water was the major problem: for half our stay, there was no water in the bathroom, and even getting water for the flush was a challenge.

I stayed an extra day because I was reluctant to leave this peaceful, beautiful spot beside a gorgeous stream. Part of the stream works as a natural pool, and if you’re into fishing, you can try for fresh Trout. It’s ideal for nature lovers, with plenty of medicinal herbs and delicious Trout around. The outdoor areas are lovely, and meals on the terrace overlook the stream. There’s also a cozy indoor space for cold or rainy days. The host and team welcomed us warmly and sorted out any issues, and the Chef was excellent. Hot water comes from solar panels, so, given how remote the place is, you have to accept the challenges that come with that. It’s a great base for exploring the Himalayan National Park and its wild beauty. I hope to return soon 💚
