Ginger Dwarka

The staff were polite, good, and responsive, and I liked being 5 km from the city because I don’t like traffic noise. The room was unclean, though: gutka stains on the floor, broken furniture, used soap in the washroom, hairs stuck to the walls, and water stains on the taps. I asked them to clean the table, but the stain was still there. The soundproofing was poor too, and I’m writing this at 12:30 am after hearing snoring from the next room. They provided soap instead of shower gel. Even small hotels now have Android TVs, but this place has a basic LG TV with Tata Sky, so bring your Fire Stick if you still want to stay.

The interconnected family room made our trip much easier, and the view from the room was lovely and calming. We stayed at Ginger Hotel recently and really enjoyed the comfort, cleanliness, and peaceful setting. The rooms were neat, cozy, and thoughtfully laid out. Staff were polite, attentive, and ready to help with a smile, which made us feel welcome and cared for. We didn’t choose the food option, so I can’t comment on the meals. For a comfortable stay, it was just right and good value for money. I’d recommend it, especially the interconnected family rooms.

The hotel’s highway location kept us away from the city noise, and it felt peaceful and safe. We stayed at Ginger Hotel, Porbandar Highway, on a two-day family trip to Dwarka. We arrived by train around midnight, and the team had called ahead to confirm the booking and help make check-in smooth. Our room was spacious, clean, well maintained, and neatly set up, with air-conditioning that worked perfectly. The next morning I enjoyed a quiet walk in the open space in front of the hotel. Breakfast was satisfying, dinner was delicious and freshly made, and the restaurant staff, especially the girl serving us, were attentive and polite. The reception team, a young man and woman on duty, arranged a taxi for Dwarkadish Temple and nearby pilgrimage sites: Bet Dwarka, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Rukminidevi Temple, Shivrajpur Beach, Gomti Ghat, and several smaller temples. The city was busy because of the President’s visit, but the staff made the day easy for us. At departure they arranged an auto at 3:30 AM so we could reach Dwarka Railway Station in time for the 4 AM Vande Bharat Express. The hospitality, cleanliness, and customer service impressed us. I trusted the Ginger brand when booking online, and this stay exceeded our expectations. Kudos to the team.

The buffet breakfast and food quality weren’t great, and the breakfast could use another look. Still, I had a very good stay overall. Staff were helpful, and when we asked for an extra 10 minutes after checkout, they handled it professionally, resolved the issue promptly, and were supportive. I appreciated the quick response and customer service, and would consider staying here again.
