The main market location means it's crowded from morning to evening, but you can easily find food nearby, with restaurants, fruit shops and carts, convenience stores, and tea stalls. I found it difficult to park when I dropped off a teammate, so we left the car near the station at our own risk. At the check-in desk, nobody was there to attend to us, and we waited at least five minutes. The rooms were very small and service wasn't good. My teammate had to ask for a towel, soap, and room cleaning. I wouldn't recommend staying here regularly. Being near the Railway station was one of the things I liked. It's also close to the main market.
Rooms are small, though they have the basic things like an almira and attached bathroom. Mine had no hot water, no water bottle was provided, and I couldn't find the AC control in the room because it was operated from outside. They did provide normal water on request. Cleanness was good and the staff behaved well. There's no hotel parking. It's a cheap range hotel, good for business purposes and a one night stay, but the rooms are small for families. The hotel is within walking distance of Bathinda railway station, with local facilities nearby, including medical shops, restaurants, and the main market.
There was no generator, and maybe they intentionally switch off the room ACs in the middle of the night to save power. The Google map location is wrong: it shows Sadar bazar, but the hotel is in front of Gandhi Market car parking, and staff didn't care about fixing that. The rooms are so small it's hard to imagine. They had no extra blanket when I asked and no hot water either. The lift is scary, barely big enough for one person. Junior staff were very rude. I asked for food and they brought the wrong items, but when I said I'd pay at checkout, one staff member insisted I needed to pay right then. This was the worst hotel I've booked. If your budget is even 500 rupees, please avoid it.
The staff behaved very well, and the hotel is very near to the railway station. The room isn't very big, but fits two people. Wifi was available and worked fine. The tv was there but didn't work because the hotel hadn't done the recharge. They provide soap, shampoo, towel, and sleeper to every customer. The lift is small too, but it's all OK in that price range.
