The location is good, close to the famous Goddess Kali temple (Kalisthan), with places to shop and walk around at night, including Reliance Trends. Rooms are hygienic and the staff are supportive. Manager Ravi Kumar is very cooperative. Book ahead, since rooms are nearly always pre-booked. Worth a visit if you're staying in Begusarai.

The washroom didn't even have a mirror, and the place wasn't very clean. They provide a landline, but nobody answers when you call. Check whether there's a better option nearby and choose that.

Anand hotel is beside Bishnupur road near Kali Asthana, so it's easy to reach from the main road. It's inexpensive compared with other hotels, with decent service overall. The food is good too and reasonably priced.

The accommodation at Hotel Anand, Begusarai was worse than a second-class railway waiting hall. The rooms, bedding, and bathrooms were poor, there was no food, and they only took cash. Bad in every respect.
