We booked this lodge for family guests, and the experience was distressing. The rooms were in poor condition and reportedly had bed bugs. When one guest got stuck in the lift, the manager showed little urgency and used abusive language when we raised the issue. The lack of power backup caused repeated problems, and basic safety, hygiene, and professionalism seemed lacking. This place felt unsafe and unsuitable for families. I strongly advise others to avoid it. The owner should change the management if they want the lodge to have a good name.

The lift wasn't working 😭. Otherwise, not bad.

The rooms are cheap and about what you'd expect for the price. They're clean, and housekeeping keeps everything in order, but the beds have little cushioning and aren't great to sleep on. Hot water is available. Decent enough if you just need somewhere to leave your things while you're out in the city or getting work done.

We've been staying at this lodge for three years, and for this price range it's really good compared with nearby options. The rooms are neat, bathrooms are well maintained, and the staff are helpful. You can bargain the price down by as much as 30-40%. It fills up early, so book ahead during busy times like VTU counseling, local festivals, and sometimes even weekends. I personally recommend it.

We had booked 12 rooms for senior citizens, but when we arrived at midnight, we were shocked to find the rooms had been resold to someone else for a little more money. After we called the police, they accommodated us in 8 rooms. The staff were very unprofessional. Hot water was provided only after 7 am. I would never recommend this hotel.
