The Urban Urban Hive Hotel

The stay itself was wonderful and the service was excellent, but loud guests made it unpleasant. They were playing and talking noisily in the corridors and throwing balls against the walls of other rooms. Hotel staff never stepped in or even asked them to keep the noise down. That kind of disturbance affects the quality of a stay.

We only stayed one night while travelling, but it was comfortable and pleasant. The room was large, the bathroom clean and looked after, and the TV, AC and other gadgets all worked properly. The location was a convenient spot for our trip. There isn't a restaurant, though they have a kitchen and can arrange room service. The food arrived hot and fresh, was served neatly, and tasted quite good. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for a comfortable stopover.

We booked five double rooms for nine family members, and all were neat and clean. The AC worked well, and each bathroom had hot and cold water available around the clock, along with a hair dryer, shampoo, body wash and hand wash. Rooms also had an electric kettle, tea and coffee sachets, and other facilities. We had breakfast at the hotel, and the food was good. It was a nice, comfortable stay, and we'd recommend it to friends and relatives visiting Belagavi.

The Urban Hive Hotel has just 20 rooms, so it felt peaceful and quiet despite being right in the city. It's near Nucleus Mall, above Bata Showroom on Kirloskar Road, and close to Kapeel Cinema Hall, with shops, markets, eateries and cinemas all nearby. The rooms were roomy and modern, with clean linens, a tidy bathroom, good water pressure and the amenities in place. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Staff were warm, professional and quick to help. For the quality and comfort, the price felt fair and good value. It has a boutique feel and felt premium without costing too much. I'd recommend it for families, business travellers, couples or anyone visiting Belgaum, and I'll return.
