The restaurant food was good, and service was prompt. The setting itself is lovely, spacious and full of trees, with birds chirping and even peacocks wandering around. The room’s damp smell was never really addressed. They sent a “freshener,” which was basically strong perfume, so it just made the room overly scenty. The bathroom felt dated, and the towels looked yellow/brown and didn’t feel fresh. The pool was completely unusable (see photo). For the price, the cleanliness and maintenance need work, and the stay felt underwhelming despite the nice vibe.

There are lots of birds around, and the peaceful, beautiful resort makes you feel close to nature. The food and service were average, especially compared with other Club Mahindra properties. There’s plenty of room for improvement.

The grounds are calm, and the resort combines that quiet with being close to the city. Spread across 20 acres of forest land shaped into a fruit garden, it’s a great place for nature walks and bird watching. The rooms have excellent facilities, staff are courteous, and two rickshaws help residents get around the property. It’s still developing and could become a prime property. Though it’s in Rajasthan, the culture feels more UP-influenced. Food is ordinary, with only common dishes available, and there aren’t many things to see nearby or in the city.

The property manager, Mr. Rahul Tamoli, made things especially easy for my parents. My mother can’t walk long distances, and her room was far from reception, but a wheelchair or E riksha was available for her right away each time. We’d bought our membership just last month, so this was our first booking and we were initially skeptical. As soon as we arrived, that changed. Check-in through check-out was smooth, and the service was exceptional. The place is vast, lush, quiet, and serene, with Rajasthani Maharaja-style architecture. We stayed two nights, though I think three are needed to enjoy Bharatpur and the property. A wonderful first experience, and many thanks to Mr. Rahul for going the extra mile.
