Hotel Vijay Palace

The room is just okay if you can’t find another good option. The building entrance is very dirty. Even though the owner confirmed it, the geyser still didn’t provide enough warm water.

The manager is very good, but his lil brother is terrible. The staff don’t know how to behave. Actually, they don’t even have staff, just 2/3 boys who are rude and expect us to be polite. They have no knowledge of room service or hotel management. This won’t even be my last option for any hotels in bhavnagar.

The bathrooms were filthy, with stains and even poop stuck on them, and the seat rims were detached. The rooms smelled bad. On the first floor, a street dog ran out of a room when staff opened the door, and the whole floor smelled ver bad. When we said we didn’t want a room there, staff said they would give us room spray. We checked several rooms on the first and second floors, and they were all in the same condition. The beds were the only good part; the bathrooms were a nightmare. They seemed much more concerned about the tariff and sticking to Hotel rules than cleanliness. None of them understands English. Auto drivers take you there for commission. It felt unsafe for families. If you don’t believe me, check the photo I attached. To the Hotel owner and staff, please clean the sticky thing from all room toilets before you stick to your rules and tariff. Ugliest Hotel 🤮🤢🤮

Once we got up to the floor, the rooms felt cozy and spacious. Their own restau is at 1st floor, so we didn’t have to go far for breakfast or dinner, and the food tasted good. The location was very poor, though, and they need to do a better job cleaning the bathrooms.
