Narayani Heritage

My confirmed booking through Goibibo was for 3 occupancy, with 1 king bed and an extra bed. At the last moment, Hotel Narayani Heritage, Bhavnagar told me they would provide only two separate beds instead. When I asked them to honor the booking or give a clear commitment, the hotel cancelled it themselves, but no refund was given. Goibibo support also didn't help resolve the issue or secure a refund, even though I hadn't cancelled. This was a very bad experience, with poor coordination, no accountability, and unfair treatment. Be careful and get everything in writing before booking. Not recommended.

The staff were among the most polite and courteous I've encountered at a hotel. This place has the charm of an old Gujarati haveli, perhaps once part of the historic Nilambag Palace of the Bhavnagar royal family. My heartfelt thanks to Her Highness, the Queen of Bhavnagar, for imagining and establishing this beautiful facility for visitors. If you'd like the warmth and authenticity of a traditional Gujarati home, this is the place. I hope to visit again.

There’s lots of greenery around the well maintained property, and you may see peacocks on the grounds. The food, breakfast, and tea were all awesome, with very affordable rates. A great place to stay if you want to experience royal dining in a heritage building. Must visit, highly recommended.

The hotel has clean, nicely kept rooms and very cooperative staff, with a limited set of necessary amenities. Breakfast is hot and provided according to the customer's needs. Car parking is very limited, though with management permission you can use the adjacent parent Heritage hotel Neelam Baug car park.
