The rooms don’t even have fans, and the AC wasn’t very good. If the power goes out, they don’t provide electricity. On top of that, the way they treat customers is horrible. They give Oyo guests these kinds of rooms because of some payment pending from Oyo, and if you want a better room, you have to pay extra. Shameless people and third-class management. Basically, it’s a very cheap lodge. Never go here.
The room was in a terrible state, with wallpaper peeling off and a very bad smell. It felt like a torture room. The hotel manager first refused to honor our reservation because it was booked through OYO. I had paid Rs. 942 online, but the manager said they couldn’t accept the booking because Oyo still owed Rs. 3.5 lacs for previous bookings. They were extremely rude to me as a woman and to their customers generally. They put us in a cheap, unhygienic room where the fan, light, toilet flush, washbasin tap, TV, bed, bedsheet, and table were broken. They didn’t even give us the AC remote. Staying there overnight was horrible, and they don’t have a kitchen either.
The room we got was completely different from the one shown on the Oyo app. When I pointed out that we’d booked another room, the receptionist argued with me and asked for more money.
Not somewhere I’d call a wow place. It’s a cheap lodge, and the staff weren’t very good. They tried to get overly friendly, and a few times they came into our room after knocking. It’s not a dhaba, but it basically feels like a cheap lodge.
The rooms were okay, but the hotel staff bluntly told me not to book there again because there’s no hot water in any rooms at selfi dhaba. That was very rude, even though everyone seems to think it’s value for money. A very bad experience.
