The hall is spacious enough for 80-90 people, well maintained, and fully air-conditioned. I attended an engagement ceremony there and everything went smoothly. It could work for birthdays, anniversaries, or other functions with a limited number of guests. The food is pure veg and above average. The venue is between Bhyendar and Mira Road, right next to Maxxus Mall.
We were about 35 people and booked the banquet for bhaidooj. The package was 499/- for adults and 399/- for kids, including taxes and everything listed. It came with 30 food items, welcome drinks, five kinds of starters, and a main course with Indian, continental, and local dishes, including pani puri and sweets. There was live music too, with a guitarist playing great songs, and we could sing and dance on stage. Had a good Zaika experience!
These are apartment bedrooms being rented out. Keep your expectations low: there wasn't even a hanger, glass, or kettle. Hygiene was basic.
Zaika Restaurant and Party Hall is easy to find in the heart of Bhayendar and seems well known around the area. The large air-conditioned dining space can seat and serve 100 people together. It's a pure veg place, with Punjabi, South Indian, and Chinese dishes on the menu, and the staff were attentive and kind. People of all ages come here, likely because there's a wide choice of food. We tried two drinks: Lovers Delight, a fresh pineapple and orange juice blend with strawberry syrup for 110/-, and Kiwi Punch for 125/-, with crushed kiwi in soda. The kiwi drink was refreshing, with a fizzy kick and kiwi flavor left on the palate. For starters, the Paneer Satay in Schezwan Sauce was paneer on wooden skewers with spicy sauce, 12 pieces for 260/-. Aloo Nazakat was 210/- for eight pieces, crisp potato filled with cottage cheese, spiced and baked. It was a real treat. The sizzling brownie with vanilla ice cream cost 210/- and came as a large brownie with a scoop of ice cream on a hot platter, chocolate sauce, and a smoky chocolate smell. We finished with meetha paan. Deepak Prasad, the captain, helped us choose from the menu. A good family meal.
