Hotel Sonali Regency

We spent two nights here with our family and had a very nice stay. The rooms were good, and both the location and service worked well for us. The staff and authority treated us satisfactorily too. I’d recommend staying here in Bhopal.

At checkout I was asked to pay the full amount again, along with a charge for a water bottle I hadn’t taken. I’d reached Sonali Hotel around 7:30 AM, paid everything upfront, checked in, left for work by 10 AM, then came back that evening and stayed the night. I checked out the next day at 10:30 AM. Staff said the hotel operated on a 24-hour clock, though nobody had told me that, and the counter had a sign saying checkout was at 12 Noon. They physically stopped me from leaving until I paid. I said I’d call the police, and only then did they back down. It felt like extortion. Complete scammers, avoid this hotel at all costs.

The manager was courteous and supportive, always ready to lend a hand. I had a wonderful stay, with clean, well-maintained rooms and outstanding hospitality.

The price was affordable, and the owner and staff were polite and helpful. Everything was neat and clean, with the rooms kept in good shape. Very nice stay, highly recommend!
