OYO 16216 Aanchal Residency

At midnight, tired from the trip, I didn't argue and ended up taking a very poor room in the same hotel. When I checked in, the staff were very rude and said I couldn't get a room for the booked price of 900. I had booked through Oyo, but they blamed Oyo and didn't refund any money. The room was extremely dirty. Worst experience of my life. Don't waste your money here.

This was the poorest hotel I've experienced for staff, food, accommodation, and cleanliness. I paid 800/- for a room for just 10hrs, but there was no geaser or hot water. The bedsheets were as dirty as those in a basic lodge at a bus stand. The staff said a short circuit had cut the room's power, so there was no way to charge my phone or use the power points. I'd rather stay in a railway waiting hall than at Anchal Residency. Don't pay at such a 3rd class hotel without checking the facilities. The food they served was poor and unhygienic, but they still charged 150/ for a bloody Sev bhaji and 5 chapatis.

We had to argue for quite a while after checking in. We booked a room for two people at Rs. 900, but later that night the staff said the price was Rs. 1,500. There was no water in the toilet either. In MP Nagar, you can find plenty of better hotels for less. I'd avoid this place because they may try to mislead you.

I had a really bad stay in Bhopal. The receptionists were irritating, the AC and cooler didn't work, and there was no Wi-Fi or TV. The bathroom was filthy, with tobacco spit in places, and neither drinking water nor food was available. This is one of the worst hotels. Don't go here.
