Dirty water kept coming from the sink until afternoon, and the bathroom taps were nearly broken and hard to shut. In the room, the TV was upside down, the glasses were dirty, there was a cobweb, no dustbin, and a chair was missing. The TV remote had no batteries. They also failed to provide clean, proper cutlery and crockery when I asked. Check-in was difficult too: despite having a confirmed online booking, they demanded 25% more and wouldn’t let me check in at the booked price.

They seemed interested only in collecting payment. The tea supplied from a nearby thelawala shop was third-class, there’s no kitchen, and the water heater didn’t work. The rooms weren’t properly cleaned, and the staff were rude and untrained. The service was the worst.

I never booked a room here, but the hotel used my email to make a booking and I don’t know who it was for. I cancelled it once, then another booking appeared. I suspect they may be creating fake bookings to inflate their booking numbers, perhaps to raise another round of investment. I tried explaining the problem to OYO booking, but their chatbot couldn’t understand it.

The property is big and feels like an apartment, but the staff seem poorly trained and equipped. Kitchen hours and menu choices are both very limited, and room service takes a long time. The maintenance could be better.
