Bijaya Palace by OYO Rooms

The caretaker Badal and the other staff were arrogant and very rude when talking to customers, as if we were staying for free. I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life here. This place doesn’t feel suitable for families, and I’d never recommend it. The owner needs to think about whether to keep these staff, because if nothing changes, I don’t think the hotel will last. The rating was 2.7 when I wrote this, and I expect it to keep falling. They’ll just find another way to take money from customers.

The rooms are spacious and good, but the staff are extremely rude. At night, lots of people come to drink alcohol in the hotel and around its premises. It doesn’t feel suitable for couples.

The rooms were filthy and smelled bad, and the bathrooms were dirty too. They’re small and don’t match the website photos. Even after a lot of arguing, we only got a room after showing the booking ID. Before that, they demanded more money at check-in and wouldn’t assign a room without it. Once we got in, the TV was off the wall, the AC plug was pulled out, and there were no remotes.

After I’d fully paid through MMT a month and a half in advance, the manager rejected my booking the day before check-in, saying the hotel was completely booked for a wedding. He also didn’t respond properly or give clear answers. This was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.
