It’s an extremely comfortable stay at Hotel Rajdhani, especially for people on a budget. We were eight people and had called several times to make sure a 10 pm check-in would be possible. The reception bhaiyas gave us ground floor rooms as requested, and made sure we had clean towels, warm drinking water, and food. The hotel restaurant had closed by the time we arrived, but after I asked the owner to arrange food, the staff went out of their way to get it for us at 11.15 pm. There’s also an Aquaguard where you can refill drinking water bottles. The hotel is near platform 6 of Bhubaneshwar. Don’t trust the location shown on Google without checking, we got confused but were guided well. Thanks to every staff member who made our stay comfortable and cozy.

It’s conveniently close to the railway station, and the staff were helpful and well mannered. Good service and a great spot, easily one of the best hotels around.

I paid for an AC room through Agoda, but was told there were no rooms available except one. Its AC didn’t work, so I ended up sleeping without it despite paying for AC. The reception never came to check when I raised the issue. The floor was dirty too; when I asked for it to be cleaned, they said there were no cleaners available. A terrible experience. I’d suggest not booking here.

The staff really made this hotel for me, and the chef personally looked after the guests. For the price, I was more satisfied here than at other budget hotels I’ve stayed in. The manager was straightforward and invited me to look at the room first, then book if I liked it. I liked that way of doing business. I’d tell others to stay here if they want a budget option.
