The host and caretaker were both extremely friendly. These are really nice apartments in the heart of the city, so you can get anywhere in under 30 minutes. I’d definitely consider staying here if you or your family need a place.

The staff were friendly and helped us find rides, as well as sharing useful information about the area. They even stored our bags after checkout while we took a day trip to puri and Konark. The rooms aren’t fancy, but for the price we got a clean room, clean toilets, sheets, towels, and hot water. We tried breakfast too, and thought it was a good deal. LM Transit House is worth considering for budget travel. We had a good stay.

The caretaker is supportive, and it’s fine for a short stay. Keep in mind there’s no lift. Also, pay close attention to the bill: I was charged for an extra bed even though we hadn’t requested one.

It’s comfortable enough, though it isn’t a luxury hotel. There aren’t any good pure veg restaurants nearby, so you’ll need to go at least 4-5 km to find one.

The rooms were really dirty, and when we asked for tea it came in a very dirty packet instead of a cup. The listing says Lm transit house is near the railway station, but it’s very far. A very bad place.
