Ms Plaza By OYO Rooms

For two mornings in a row, I couldn't get drinking water, and the phone in the room didn't work. The contact number they provided was switched off, so I waited two hours before leaving to get water outside. The room itself was in very bad, unhygienic condition, with cockroaches and a filthy wash basin. On the first day, the lock didn't work and they wouldn't replace it. Eventually I was asked to move rooms, but in the new one neither the TV nor the telecom worked. Service at MS Plaza was very poor.

The property manager did nothing about the filthy rooms, so I couldn't stay even three hours and had to leave. There was dust everywhere and I couldn't stay without coughing. The pillows and mattress had multiple dirty spots and smelled bad. Staff also didn't know how to speak to customers. They claim lots of amenities on OYO, but many weren't there: no lift, no TV cable in any room, WiFi that didn't work, no restaurant, no spoon, and no fridge. There wasn't even a welcome kit, and they charged me for a small glass bottle of water. Although multiple rooms were available, they charged 500 Rs for just two hours of early check-in and early checkout. The receptionist initially refused to give me the bill for the early check-in, then handed it over after an argument. They took around 1400, but the stay wasn't worth even 100 rs. I've never seen such a messy hotel.

The AC and geyser worked fine, and parking was available. But the rooms were dirty, the staff were rude, and it was hard to find the place. Water wasn't provided unless you paid for a bottle, and even then only sometimes. Towels and blankets weren't given. The door between rooms was bad for privacy, the lift didn't work, the TV was there but didn't work, and the WiFi was worse than expected. There were lots of dogs outside the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hostel.

Getting there was difficult even though it's within walking distance of the main road, since Google Maps couldn't really locate the hotel. The rooms were horrible and unhygienic, and the bedsheets and pillow covers looked as if they hadn't been washed. Staff were rude. They charged extra for an extra guest but refused to provide an extra mattress or anything else. Checkout was bad too. We were only 30 minutes late, but they said they'd charge for a whole extra day. OYO shouldn't encourage or work with this kind of hotel management.
