OYO 78651 Spacious Stay

My stay at “oyo Spacious Stay” went badly. At check-in, the owner asked me for extra money. I was with my family and wasn't too concerned about the money, but that was only the start. The rooms were gloomy and the air felt stifling; as soon as I stepped inside, I knew I'd made a big mistake and turned around and left. I lost the money but at least kept my sanity, barely. Don't book this cheap hotel, it drains your wallet and your happiness. Sometimes a few words say enough! 😅

I couldn't find the place at first, and my six or seven calls to their mobile number went unanswered. When I reached OYO Home Spacious Stay around 11:58 pm, there was no room available; I waited 25 minutes before the owner told me everything was booked. He offered to arrange another hotel if I paid extra. I had no real choice because my three friends were due at 4 am. Their response and adherence to their schedule were something else. They seem ready to cancel the reservation if you ask questions, while the OYO app says cancellations get no refund. Such a pathetic experience and awful attitude.

I arrived at OYO Home Spacious Stay around 1:30 pm, but the room wasn't ready, and my calls to the hotel had gone unanswered six or seven times while I tried to find it. I waited 45 minutes as they cleaned slowly, but the bed still couldn't be made because there were no clean sheets. They went to the laundry and brought one back after 25 minutes, and I finally got into the room around 2:45 pm. So much for a quick response, cleanliness, or sticking to a schedule. They seem adamant about cancelling the reservation when you ask questions, and the OYO app says cancellation means no refund. Pathetic.

For frequent visitors to Bhubaneswar, this is a good place, and for the price the rooms are nice with good facilities. There's no restaurant, but guests can cook in the shared kitchen, which has utensils, a sofa, dining area, and fridge. The service was very good and the employees behaved well. A car can be parked outside, but there's space for only two vehicles; bikes can go inside. The connecting road is narrow, so getting there can be a little difficult. No doubt, five stars.
