OYO Flagship 28138 Padma Resort

I'd paid the full amount online through agoda, but when I got to the hotel the receptionist refused to give me a room unless I paid extra, double what I'd already paid. He also refused to give me a receipt for the booking. He was very rude and acted as if he was doing me a favor by letting me stay. The way I was treated felt like the hotel was looting customers. I also saw them consume alcohol, apparently with money they had looted from customers.

They asked for an extra check-in fee, and customer care couldn't sort it out even after I contacted them. A waste of money. I was also uncomfortable because staff kept coming over and staring at me when I was travelling with female family members. This was the worst property I've seen on Make my trip Portal.

We were charged around 500 rupees for one extra mattress, and then they blamed the website for showing incorrect details and asked us for more money. The site advertised complimentary breakfast, but there was none. The bedsheet they gave us had a South Indian Railway mark on it, which made me feel it was stolen. I've travelled for a long time, and this was the worst hotel stay I've had. I don't recommend it to anyone.

The staff were hostile and seemed ready to argue, and I wasn't even given a blanket with the extra bed I paid Rs 460 for. Agoda showed Rs 840 for the room with breakfast, but the hotel had no kitchen and I couldn't even get water. The sheets appeared to be from Southern Railway. This is a homestay, not really a hotel or resort, and at that price I think you can find a better room elsewhere. Keep in mind there aren't any facilities here if you book online.
