OYO Flagship 76560 Hotel Vanss

The hotel was badly managed. The rooms had dirty sheets and torn, stained towels, and nobody cleaned unless we asked. The restaurant was a nightmare too. Despite the big menu, around 80% of the items weren't available. The cook said he only knew how to make roti, white rice, dal, and chicken curry. Getting tea or coffee even at 9 am was too much to expect. They would buy milk or other ingredients only after an order came in, then take at least two hours to serve the food. We ordered tea at 7.30 am and got it at 9.30, because there was no milk. It happened every day. The manager and a few local boys running the place were arrogant and lacked culture and proper dress. The hotel also rents rooms by the hour, and isn't fit for families. We were there for 14 days for the World Cup Hockey and had no choice but to stay. Twelve out of our group of 22 left on the first day. I feel sorry for the marriage party that checked in. God save anyone staying here. Avoid this hotel at all costs. It's pathetic.

The manager was helpful and well organized. When we decided the room wasn't right after booking, they gave us a full refund. The cleaning was poor, though. The sheets and pillowcases hadn't been changed, and the washroom wasn't clean either.

Booking here through Oyo left me feeling cheated. At the hotel they wouldn't recognize my booking, saying I'd paid too little, then wanted more money or for me to cancel. If they don't accept Oyo bookings, Oyo should take this hotel off its list. Oyo is one of the worst hotel booking apps anyway.

The rooms were dusty, with cobwebs in the bathroom and dead insects around. There’s a dumping ground and sewage water beside the building, so the place is full of mosquitoes. The food was pathetic too. The service and quality were extremely poor, and it wasn't hygienic, it could make you sick. Please don't waste your time or hard-earned money here.
