Purple Villa by OYO Rooms

I often stay at Purple villa for work, and it’s in a prime part of Bhubaneswar. The service is up to the mark, with responsive staff, and the rooms are cozy, clean, and hygienic, with good facilities. I’ve had a very nice experience and would choose it again when I visit.

The room was average, and the owner's behavior was truly pathetic, as if he ran a two-star hotel. I was asked to pay more for the stay, 1 k for 2 adults. The owner said Oyo lists the rooms at a lower amount, so Oyo should remove this property from its app. You can find better rooms for the same price, so choose carefully.

The room I got was like a filthy, tiny storeroom, nothing like the pictures. Staff were very rude, and they charged extra for a room with an attached bathroom. Even then, they gave me an extremely dirty, small room, while couples staying half a day or overnight were given larger rooms. Local police should look into this business.

I paid online through Goibibo, but when I arrived to check in at the OYO, the receptionist said it was a shift booking. LOL..!! He thought I didn't know why they were refusing me, but they wanted extra money before letting me check in. I don't know how OYO manages these nuisances or where they hire such low-standard people. This OYO deserves to be closed as soon as possible.
