Oyo 22630 the Dream Palace

The staff were disappointing, with little professionalism or courtesy, and it felt like they lacked management and hospitality training. Cleanliness and upkeep were poor too: my room wasn't tidy, the bed linen was dirty, and the AC stopped working the next day and started shooting ice. I used to stay at Hotel The Dream Palace when it was OYO 22630, and back then it was well managed and budget friendly. Since leaving the OYO network, it seems to have lost its former standard and charm. Guests aren't allowed to bring outside food, so you have to rely on the in-house restaurant, which is unreasonably expensive. One chapati costs ₹25. I tried the Manchurian, which tasted average but cost a lot, not worth the price. All in all, the hotel has gone downhill and is no longer maintained to OYO standards. Food is overpriced, room upkeep and cleanliness are poor, staff behavior is unprofessional, and amenities like the AC are broken. My stay was far from satisfying. I don't recommend it and won't be coming back.

The bed sheets were burned, and there was gutka everywhere. Very dirty, though good for the price.

It's in the jungle, with rude staff who seem helpless and not enough of them. There was no room service, no restaurant, and no breakfast, lunch or dinner. The bed and pillow covers were dirty and hadn't been changed. Two guests got one towel on the first day, and it wasn't changed the next day. The bathroom door couldn't be closed.

The floor was drenched when we arrived, and the walls were covered in tobacco spits. The bed covers and blanket were stained and unclean, and we didn't get proper service. The bathroom was very dim because the lights weren't working properly. Very unhygienic.
