Getting around was convenient, with good access to the railway station and airport, but the stay itself was very poor. The reception looks impressive, yet the rooms had peeling flooring, stained walls, and cockroaches, including in the washroom. During my long stay, complaints weren’t taken seriously, and one night I even found a cockroach on the bedspread. There was no hot water either. Customer service and the rooms were awful.
The food was delicious and came out quickly. Tapan bhaiya was a delight, always smiling while serving. The rooms were well maintained too, and the staff were extremely polite and well behaved. Satisfying service all around.
The clean, well-kept rooms and decent breakfast made for a good stay at Hotel Crystal Urban Park in Bhubaneshwar, and I thought it was worth the tariff. The problem was Pradeep at reception, whose behavior was rude when I arrived late at night and again when I ordered food the next evening. A courteous female staff member helped sort things out the following morning. With better attention to staff training, the hotel could really shine.
Breakfast was a great experience. Mr. Sangram looked after me well and made sure I ate properly. Good hospitality overall, and the hotel is conveniently located near the airport.
The food tasted good, and both the room tariff and food prices seemed reasonable. But lunch service was very slow, taking about 35 minutes to an hour for the order. We’d booked two rooms, then were told on arrival that we couldn’t get rooms near each other. The rooms themselves were good, the environment was pleasant, and the location is very good. They also have an eye care center.
