Townhouse 203 Mancheswar by OYO Rooms

We paid through OYO and got cheated. This isn't an OYO location, which is disappointing, especially since this was my first time using it.

The food was far too salty. We returned it, but didn't get another dish or a refund. The hotel has no authority to interfere with the restaurant, which was hostile. There wasn't even a towel at the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this place for families.

The rooms were very nice, the bathrooms neat and clean, the shower was great, and the AC was OK. The front office staff were good at guiding us to the hotel, and the front office girl and security staff were helpful and carrying the load. Still, there was no room boy to help with our luggage, and as senior citizens we struggled to manage it and get through check-out quickly. The hotel needs a prominent name board and better lighting at the roadside entrance, since every cab and auto struggled to find it. Breakfast should be served by 7:30 AM. As tourists, we needed to leave quickly and couldn't have breakfast there. It has great potential to become a top-class hotel if these smaller things are handled. The room was great, with decent internet and amenities, and the room service staff were very helpful. Staff behavior at reception needs work, though. On the first day, the receptionist didn't want to help me order tea at check-in. The next day, another receptionist said she'd quoted a different rate and made me pay extra. They say food can be ordered until 10:30 PM, but kitchen staff push you to order by 9:30 because they want to close early.
