Treebo Moon Waalk, Patia

Good location and service, and it’s fine for a short stay. The intercom didn’t work, so getting in touch was a bit slow. Also, every time the door to Room 226 on the 3rd floor opened, there was a strong smell.

For an affordable night in Patia, Treebo Moon Waalk (Just behind Pantaloons) is a decent place to stay. The location is its main advantage if you have work in the area or need to be nearby. Rooms are basic and clean, and the staff were generally helpful and cooperative. It’s an average hotel, so don’t expect luxury, but it had what I needed for a comfortable night.

The rooms were very spacious, which was the one clear plus during our one-night stay at Treebo Moon Waalk, Patia on 19th July 2025. The hotel occupies the 2nd floor of a building with other commercial businesses, so it felt more like makeshift accommodation than a dedicated hotel. Paying was inconvenient because there was no credit card facility. Breakfast was disappointing: poori-ghugni, boiled eggs, and idly were the only options. The sambar had run out by the time we arrived, there were no fruits, juices, or live counter, and tea was available, but we were told coffee would take time. The toilet is large, but there’s no divider between the bathing area and toilet, so showering leaves the whole floor wet, which isn’t comfortable or hygienic. This might suit budget travelers or backpackers without high expectations, but the lack of basic amenities, poor breakfast, and payment limitations made our stay unsatisfactory.

Room 223 had no hand wash, and its AC remote didn’t work. There was also ongoing construction across from the property, with constant noise. When I went to shower, there was no water in the taps because they’d forgotten to store water in the tanks. I had to use a mobile number every time I needed the restaurant or reception because the landline was out of order. Breakfast began around 8:45-9:00, and the only things on the table were Poori/Sabzi and a boiled egg. The food wasn’t good either. A very immature experience, and not worth the price.
