I’m reviewing the restaurant only. The Gujarati thali is the best I’ve had in Bhuj, and poori aamras is my personal favorite in summer. The food is superb, the ambience is lovely, and the staff are professional and well trained. Check the menu by phone before you go, since it keeps changing.

I never saw any female staff during my time there, which felt strange and uncomfortable. It also seems inconsiderate of hotel management, especially in case a female guest has an emergency. They should hire women if they haven’t already, or make sure female staff are available and visible. The hotel could use a woman’s touch.

The market is right within walking distance, so whatever you need to shop for is nearby. The hotel is also close to the railway station and the bypass road for reaching the tourist spots. It’s one of the best hotels in the heart of the city.

We came to iLark, Bhuj as a group from Kerala, and the hospitality really stood out. Negi and his team served us Gujarati Thali with such warmth and plenty that it made the authentic meal even better. The property is functional and has a very Indian ambience. Well done to the whole team and its culture of excellent hospitality.

We stayed one night with our group and the service was better than we expected. I’ve stayed in Singapore and Malaysia, and the service at Ilark hotel Bhuj was just as good. Special thanks to Mr.Lukman and Mr.Ashok at the front office. I’d definitely recommend a visit.
